The Anthology

Poems & Paraboles is a collaborative literary publication devoted to poetry, story-telling, and fables that transfigure the ordinary.

Poems & Paraboles envisions publishing annual anthologies under the publishing imprint Parabole Press. Poems that are posted throughout the year will be considered for publication in the anthology.

We are thrilled to announce that Poems & Paraboles will release its first annual print anthology—published by Parabole Press—in December 2026!

Contributors whose work is published in Poems & Paraboles throughout the year will be considered for publication in the print anthology.

Poets and storytellers are invited to submit their work. Selected pieces will be posted throughout the year. See submission guidelines!

Publishing Rights

By submitting your work:

1. You affirm you are the sole author and maintain all rights for your work

2. And, you affirm your poem is not made with the help of A.I. or ChatGPT

Poems & Paraboles requests first serial rights. First serial rights grant a publication the opportunity to publish a work first before it goes out elsewhere. All individual rights revert back to you, the author, upon publication.
