The Anthology

We are hard at work preparing our first poetry anthology shaped by the voices and authors published in Poems & Paraboles. Our mission is to spread good, story-led literature through the written word.

The long-term vision is to publish a full-length print anthology each calendar year under the publishing imprint Parabole Press.

News About The Anthology

We are thrilled to announce that Poems & Paraboles will release its first annual print anthology—published by Parabole Press—in November 2026!

Contributors whose work is published in Poems & Paraboles throughout the year will be considered for publication in the print anthology.

Poets and storytellers are invited to submit their work. Selected pieces will be posted throughout the year. See submission guidelines!

Publishing Rights

By submitting your work:

1. You affirm you are the sole author and maintain all rights for your work

2. And, you affirm your poem is not made with the help of A.I. or ChatGPT

We request first serial rights. First serial rights grant Poems & Paraboles the opportunity to publish a work first, before it goes out elsewhere.

We also request nonexclusive anthology rights. If your poem is posted and published on Substack, your poem will also be published in the Anthology in Winter 2026 (full-length print anthology). All individual rights revert back to you, the author, upon publication of the Anthology.
