In my dreams

there’s no such thing as scarcity. This world of ours is a dense jungle, and life in colorful array unfurls amid the trees, beyond what anyone can see. Gleaming waterfalls plunge into swimming lagoons. Waters replenish and flow with no destination. Palm leaves sway midday, green as emerald. Eucalyptus brims the air. I walk slow and barefoot along fern trails. The bees never sting. The fruit is good to eat. I take a bite, as time dissolves.
Poems & Paraboles publishes work that illuminates, awakens, or opens a small window toward wonder. Some pieces are quiet. Some are bold. Some carry a moral thread, while others wander into the mysterious and ethereal.
Poets and storytellers are invited to submit their work. Selected pieces will be posted and featured throughout the year. See Submission Guidelines!
