Bob, thank you for sharing your words and story with us! The lines of your poem possess a haunting echo that capture the intersect of grief, darkness, and winter so beautifully!

I love how even the formatting of this poem adds to its essence 👏🏻

The image of the geese calling while the wheel turns is especially powerful . It feels like life moving forward while grief stands still. A quietly beautiful and resonant piece. Thanks for sharing with me Bob!

Thank you Rebekah, I've realized that grief pulls you back . Life goes on around you but your not part of it. People around you soon get fed up of you. Your wallowing , grow up, stop being melodramatic , your too sensitive are just some of the things that have been said to me.

This is beautiful Bob and while I had to look up 4 words because I don’t know anything about Druidry, the first read was satisfying and beautiful and the 2nd even more so. I think we are all waiting in one way or another for those we’ve loved and lost to call our name. Peace to you 💛💛💛
