We are hard at work preparing our first poetry anthology, shaped by the voices and authors published in Poems & Paraboles.
Poems & Paraboles will publish and release its first print anthology in Winter 2026. The official publisher name is Parabole Press—an independent poetry company.
The anthology will be a collaborative poetry collection authored by poets on Substack.
If your poem was posted in Poems & Paraboles this year, your work will be a part of the full-length print anthology.
There's still time to submit poems for the anthology. If you had a poem posted this year, you’re invited to submit again. It would be wonderful for each poet to have 2-3 poems in the anthology.
The submission window closes Tuesday, September 15th at 12:00PM (EST).
Poems & Paraboles is a collaborative literary publication devoted to poetry, storytelling, and fables that transfigure the ordinary.
We publish poetry that illuminates, awakens, or opens a small window toward wonder. Some pieces are quiet. Some are bold. Some carry a moral thread, while others wander into the mysterious and ethereal.
Our mission is to spread good, story led literature through the written word. . . your support funds the creation of the anthology.

Publishing Rights
By submitting your work:
You affirm you are the sole author and maintain all rights for your work
And, you affirm your poem is not made with the help of A.I. or ChatGPT
The publisher requests first serial rights—this grants Parabole Press the opportunity to publish a poem first, before it goes out elsewhere. We also request non-exclusive anthology rights. If your poem was posted on Poems & Paraboles’ Substack, your poem will be published in the anthology under the publisher name Parabole Press. All individual rights revert back to you, the author, upon publication of the anthology.
